How to track the status of an existing repair

Apple products are known for their quality and reliability, but occasionally, you may encounter issues that require repair. Fortunately, Apple provides excellent customer support through iCenter: Apple Authorised Service Provider. If you’ve already submitted your device for repair and want to track the status of your service request, this guide will walk you through the process.

Step 1: Gather Essential Information
Before you start tracking your repair status, make sure you have the following information ready:

  • Your Apple ID and password.
  • The Case or Repair ID assigned to your service request (It will be shared with you via email).
  • The serial number of your device, which can be found in your Apple ID account or on your device.

Step 2: Access the Apple Support Website
Go to Apple’s official support website using your preferred web browser. Click the link below.

Step 3: Sign In to Your Apple ID Account
On the Apple Support website, locate the “Sign in to My Support” option. Click on it and enter your Apple ID and password.

Step 4: Find the “Repair Lookup” Option
Once you’ve signed in, navigate to the “Repair Lookup”. You’ll be prompted to enter your Repair ID and Serial Number. Type in the alphanumeric code provided when you submitted your device for repair.

Step 5: Click “Submit” or “Check Status”
After entering both the Repair ID and the serial number, click the “Submit” button. This will initiate a search for your service request.

Step 6: View Your Repair Status
Once your information is processed, you’ll be directed to a page displaying the status of your repair. The page will typically show details such as whether your device is being diagnosed, repaired, or ready for pickup. It may also include estimated completion dates.
